Possible Causes
Side brush magnet missing or dirty, Side brush motor sensor failed, Wiring harness damaged, Firmware misreading tachometer signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power OFF the robot and remove the side brush.
- 1. Inspect side brush hub: Check for a small magnet or metal insert in the hub. Ensure it is intact and not covered in metallic debris.
- 2. Clean sensor area: Use compressed air to blow out dust from around the side brush motor housing where the sensor is located.
- 3. Check harness (advanced): Open the bottom cover and trace the side brush motor wires to the main PCB. Ensure the connector is secure and wires are not damaged.
- 4. Replace side brush motor: If E19 persists and the motor runs erratically, replace the side brush motor assembly, which typically includes the speed sensor.
Warning: Incorrect sensor readings can cause the robot to misjudge cleaning performance. Use only OEM replacement parts to maintain proper operation.
