Charging Contact / Docking Error
Robot vacuum reports E7 and cannot find or charge on the dock

Possible Causes
Charging contacts dirty or oxidized, Dock power adapter unplugged or faulty, Charging spring pins stuck, Charging contact harness loose inside robot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging dock from the wall before cleaning contacts.
- 1. Inspect dock power: Verify the dock's power LED is lit when plugged in. If not, check the outlet and power adapter.
- 2. Clean charging contacts: On the robot, locate the metal charging pads; on the dock, locate the matching contacts. Wipe both with a dry microfiber cloth. For heavy oxidation, lightly rub with a pencil eraser, then wipe clean.
- 3. Check spring pins: On some Trifo docks, the contacts are spring-loaded pins. Press each pin gently to ensure it moves freely and springs back. If a pin is stuck, carefully work it in and out while cleaning.
- 4. Confirm alignment: Place the dock against a wall on a hard, flat surface. Start the robot and press the Home button in the app or on the robot. Watch to ensure it approaches the dock straight and makes full contact.
- 5. Internal harness check (advanced): If the robot docks but does not charge, open the robot and verify the charging contact harness is firmly connected to the main board and not corroded.
Warning: Never short the charging contacts with metal tools. If you smell burning or see melted plastic around the contacts, discontinue use and seek professional repair.
