Possible Causes

Dust bin full or clogged, HEPA filter blocked, Suction inlet obstructed, Fan motor failing or blocked by debris

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the dust bin before working on the suction system.

  • 1. Empty the dust bin: Remove the bin from the rear or top of the robot (depending on model). Empty all debris into a trash can.
  • 2. Clean or replace filters: Remove the primary and HEPA filters from the bin. Tap them gently over a trash can to remove dust. If the HEPA filter is heavily soiled, damaged, or older than 3–6 months, replace it with a compatible Trifo filter.
  • 3. Check suction path: Look into the suction inlet on the robot and the outlet on the dust bin. Remove any clogs (e.g., tissue, pet hair clumps) using a brush or tweezers.
  • 4. Inspect fan intake: With the bin removed, locate the fan intake opening inside the robot. Use a flashlight to check for debris. Do not insert metal tools into the fan.
  • 5. Test suction: Reinstall the bin, power ON the robot, and start a cleaning cycle. Place your hand near the suction inlet to feel airflow. If airflow is still very weak and E8 returns, the fan motor may be failing.

Warning: Do not wash non-washable filters with water. Operating the robot with a wet filter can damage the fan motor. Fan motor replacement should be done by a qualified technician.
