Battery Protection / Overcurrent or Undervoltage
Robot vacuum displays E9 and shuts down unexpectedly during cleaning

Possible Causes
Battery pack aged or degraded, Battery connector loose, Internal battery cell imbalance, Excessive load from motors causing voltage drop
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power OFF the robot and remove it from the dock. Do not attempt to open the battery pack itself.
- 1. Full recharge: Place the robot on the dock and allow it to charge uninterrupted for at least 4–6 hours until the app or indicator shows full charge.
- 2. Inspect battery contacts: If accessible, remove the battery cover on the underside of the robot. Check that the battery connector is fully seated and that there is no corrosion on the contacts.
- 3. Reduce load test: Remove the main brush and side brush, then run the robot. If it runs longer without E9, the battery is weak and the reduced load is masking the issue; plan to replace the battery pack.
- 4. Check age of battery: If the robot is more than 2–3 years old and runtime has noticeably decreased, the lithium battery pack is likely at end of life.
- 5. Replace battery: Purchase a compatible Trifo battery pack (matching voltage and connector). Power OFF the robot, disconnect the old pack, install the new one, and fully charge before first use.
Warning: Do not puncture, crush, or short-circuit the battery pack. Swollen, leaking, or hot batteries must be handled as hazardous waste and replaced immediately by a professional.
