Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the dock is plugged into a working outlet.
- 1. Force charge: Place the robot on the dock and leave it for at least 30–60 minutes. Some models need a minimum charge before they will power on.
- 2. Check indicators: Look for any LED lights on the robot or dock. If none are lit, verify the dock power adapter and outlet.
- 3. Try hard reset: Press and hold the power button for 10–15 seconds. On some models, this can recover from a locked state.
- 4. Inspect battery connection (advanced): Remove the battery cover and ensure the battery is connected. If you have a multimeter and experience, you can check battery voltage to confirm it is not at 0 V.
Warning: If the robot shows no signs of life even with a known-good battery and dock, the main PCB or internal fuse may be damaged. This requires professional diagnosis and repair.
