Possible Causes
Dust bin not fully inserted, Broken bin latch, Damaged bin sensor tab or magnet, Faulty bin presence switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before removing the dust bin.
- 1. Reseat dust bin: Remove the bin and reinstall it firmly until it clicks. Ensure no debris is blocking the bin rails.
- 2. Inspect bin latch and tabs: Check that the latch closes securely and that any plastic tabs or magnets used for detection are intact.
- 3. Clean sensor area: Use a dry brush or compressed air to clean the bin sensor area inside the robot.
- 4. Replace bin if damaged: If the bin cannot latch securely or detection tabs are broken, replace the dust bin assembly.
Warning: Do not tape the bin in place or bypass the sensor; the bin must be correctly installed to protect the fan and internal components.
