Possible Causes
Broken main brush belt or gear, Stripped brush end, Main brush motor failure, Disconnected brush motor harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the main brush.
- 1. Inspect brush ends: Check that the drive end of the brush is not rounded or broken. Replace the brush if damaged.
- 2. Check for belt/gear issues (if applicable): Some Trifo models use internal gears. Open the bottom cover and inspect the main brush drive for broken gears or belts.
- 3. Test motor: With the brush removed, start a cleaning cycle and look into the brush housing to see if the drive coupler spins. If not, the motor or gearbox has failed.
- 4. Replace assembly: Install a new main brush motor/gearbox module if the motor does not run.
Warning: Running the robot without a functioning main brush will severely reduce cleaning performance and may cause debris buildup in the suction path.
