Possible Causes
Side brush motor partially failed, Side brush connector loose, Side brush stripped hub, Firmware not detecting stall
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and flip it over.
- 1. Check brush attachment: Ensure the side brush is firmly attached and the screw (if present) is tight.
- 2. Inspect hub: Remove the brush and check for a stripped or rounded hub. Replace the brush if damaged.
- 3. Test motor: With the brush removed, gently rotate the motor shaft. If it is stiff or does not move, the motor may be failing.
- 4. Replace motor: If the motor does not run during cleaning even after cleaning and reseating, replace the side brush motor module.
Warning: Do not force the motor shaft; this can damage the gearbox. Use only compatible Trifo side brush motors.
