Possible Causes
Static discharge causing UI lockup, Damaged touch sensor or button contacts, Cracked display glass, Firmware UI crash
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: The thermostat is low voltage. Avoid using sharp tools on the display.
- Soft reset: Remove the thermostat from its wall plate or remove batteries for 30–60 seconds, then refit.
- Clean the surface: Wipe the display with a soft, dry cloth to remove moisture or dirt that may affect touch sensitivity.
- Check for physical damage: Inspect for cracks or signs of impact. If the glass is damaged, do not press hard on the screen.
- Update firmware: Use the Wiser app to check for updates that may address UI stability.
- If E14 remains and controls are unusable: Replace the thermostat, as the touch panel or UI controller is likely defective.
