Possible Causes
HW channel disabled in configuration, Misconfigured HW schedule, Faulty HW relay in Heat Hub, Cylinder thermostat set too low or failed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Hot water controls are mains voltage. Isolate power before opening any wiring centre or Heat Hub.
- Check HW schedule: In the Wiser app, verify that hot water is enabled and that the schedule has ON periods.
- Manual boost test: Use the app to manually boost hot water. Listen for the HW relay click in the Heat Hub and check if the boiler fires.
- Check cylinder thermostat: Ensure it is set to an appropriate temperature (around 55–60°C) and has not tripped (if it has a reset button).
- Inspect wiring (qualified persons only): Verify that the HW relay output from the Heat Hub is correctly wired to the cylinder stat and motorised valve (if present).
- If HW relay does not operate: The HW relay in the Heat Hub may be faulty and the hub should be replaced.
