Thermostat randomly resets or restarts during normal operation

Safety first: For mains or 24V powered units, isolate power before removing from wall.

• Check and replace batteries: Ensure batteries are firmly seated and replace with new ones if in doubt.
• Reseat on backplate: Remove and refit the thermostat to ensure solid electrical contact.
• Update firmware: Use the Wiser app to install any available updates.
• Relocate if near interference: Move the thermostat away from high-current devices or cables that may induce noise.
• If reboots continue: Replace the thermostat as the internal power circuitry or firmware may be defective.
