Possible Causes

Clogged inlet filter at water valve, Faulty AEG water inlet valve, Low or no water supply pressure, Defective pressure sensor or air trap blocked

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap before working on hoses or valves.

  • Check household water supply: Ensure the tap feeding the AEG washer-dryer is fully open and that other taps in the house have normal pressure.
  • Clean inlet hose filters: Turn off the tap, unscrew the inlet hose from the back of the machine, and remove the small mesh filters from the valve inlets. Rinse under running water and brush off limescale. Refit carefully.
  • Inspect inlet hose: Check for kinks, crushing, or frozen sections. Straighten or replace the hose if damaged.
  • Check for blocked pressure system: Remove the top cover, locate the pressure sensor and its thin air hose. Ensure the hose is not split, kinked, or blocked with detergent residue. Clean the air trap on the side of the tub if accessible.
  • Test the inlet valve: With power disconnected, access the AEG water inlet valve assembly at the rear. Check coil resistance with a multimeter; a completely open circuit indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.

If E10 persists after these checks, the electronic control board may not be energizing the valve correctly and should be diagnosed by a qualified technician.
