Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Seized drum bearings, Faulty AEG drive motor, Loose motor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains power before removing the rear panel.
- Check drum by hand: Try to rotate the drum manually. If it is seized or very stiff, suspect bearing or foreign object jam.
- Inspect drive belt: Remove the rear panel and check if the belt is on both the motor pulley and drum pulley. Refit or replace if broken or stretched.
- Check motor connections: Ensure the motor plug is firmly connected and wiring is intact.
- Test motor: If the belt is intact and drum turns freely, the motor may be faulty and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
