How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap. Expect water in the base; protect the floor.
- Access underside: Remove the rear panel or tilt the machine to inspect the sump hose, pump, and drain hose.
- Check sump hose: Look for splits, pinholes, or rubbing marks. Replace the hose if any damage is found and secure with new clamps.
- Inspect pump: Examine the AEG drain pump for leaks around the seal or housing. Replace the pump if water is seeping from the body.
- Check external drain hose: Inspect the hose from pump to standpipe/sink. Replace if cracked or kinked.
