How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before cleaning internal parts.
- Clean door seal: Wipe the AEG door gasket thoroughly with a cloth and mild bleach solution, paying attention to folds where water collects.
- Run hot maintenance wash: Run an empty 90°C cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar to kill bacteria and remove residue.
- Clean detergent drawer: Remove the dispenser drawer and scrub away mold and detergent build-up. Clean the housing as well.
- Leave door open: After use, leave the door and dispenser slightly open to allow drying and prevent odors.
