Possible Causes
Blocked condenser or internal lint filter, Obstructed dryer fan, Faulty dryer fan motor, Restricted air ducting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before opening panels.
- Clean accessible filters: If your Bush model has a user-accessible condenser or lint filter, remove and thoroughly clean it under running water. Allow to dry before refitting.
- Inspect internal ducts: Remove the rear panel and, if necessary, side panels to access the dryer air path. Carefully vacuum lint from ducts, fan housing, and around the condenser.
- Check dryer fan: Locate the dryer fan motor and impeller. Ensure the impeller is not broken and can rotate freely. Remove any lint or foreign objects.
- Test fan operation: After reassembly, run a drying cycle and listen for the fan. If it does not run and E12 appears, the fan motor may be faulty and should be replaced with a Bush-compatible dryer fan motor.
