How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing control boards.
- Power reset: Leave the machine unplugged for at least 15 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge, then reconnect and try again.
- Check control connections: Remove the top cover and control panel fascia. Inspect the ribbon cable and connectors between the display board and main PCB. Reseat all connectors.
- Inspect for damage: Look for burn marks or corrosion on the PCB and connectors.
- Service mode (if available): Some Bush models allow a configuration reset via service mode; refer to the service manual. Incorrect use can render the machine inoperable, so this is best left to a technician.
