Washer-dryer leaks water from the front, usually around the door area.

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply before inspection.

• Inspect door seal: Open the door and carefully examine the rubber gasket all the way around for tears, holes, or mould build-up.
• Clean seal and drain holes: Wipe the seal with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Clear any small drain holes at the bottom of the seal to allow water to flow back into the drum.
• Check retaining band: Ensure the outer metal or plastic band holding the seal to the front panel is tight and not displaced.
• Detergent usage: Reduce detergent quantity and use HE detergent to minimise suds that can leak past the seal.
• Replace seal: If the gasket is damaged, replace it with a Bush-compatible door seal. This involves removing the front retaining band, fitting the new seal, and refitting both inner and outer bands securely.
