Possible Causes
Partially clogged inlet valve, Restricted inlet screens, Faulty water level pressure sensor misreading level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water and unplug the unit before disconnecting hoses or accessing internal components.
Steps to resolve:
- Check water flow: Confirm strong water flow from both hot and cold supplies by disconnecting hoses and running into a bucket.
- Clean inlet screens: Remove debris from the inlet valve screens as described for 4C.
- Observe fill: With panels in place, run a quick cycle and watch through the door. If water trickles in slowly, the water inlet valve assembly may be partially blocked internally and should be replaced.
- Check pressure sensor hose: If fill appears normal but 4L still occurs, inspect the water level pressure hose and sensor as described for 1F.
After repairs, run a test cycle to ensure the correct water level is reached and 4L does not reappear.
