Safety first: No internal repair is needed for control lock; do not disassemble the control panel unless buttons are physically stuck.

• Disable control lock: On most GE Profile combos, press and hold the designated Control Lock or a specific button combination (often "Delay Start" or "Signal" for 3–5 seconds) until CL disappears. Refer to the user manual for your exact model.
• Check for stuck buttons: If CL will not clear, inspect the control panel for a physically stuck or damaged button. Gently free it if possible.
• Power reset: Unplug the unit for 1–2 minutes, then restore power and try disabling the lock again.
• UI replacement: If the lock indicator will not clear and buttons do not respond, the user interface board may be faulty and require replacement.
