Possible Causes
Partially closed water supply valves, Clogged inlet screens, Faulty water inlet valve, Frozen inlet hoses in cold environments
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and turn off water supply before disconnecting hoses.
- Check faucets: Ensure both hot and cold supply valves are fully open.
- Inspect hoses: Look for kinks or freezing (in unheated spaces). Thaw frozen hoses safely and insulate if needed.
- Clean inlet screens: Disconnect hoses at the rear and clean the small screens inside the water inlet valve ports.
- Test fill: Reconnect hoses, restore water and power, and run a fill test. If one temperature still does not fill, that side of the valve is likely bad.
- Replace water inlet valve: Install a new water inlet valve assembly if cleaning and hose checks do not restore normal fill.
