Possible Causes
Load too small or too large, Bulky items clumped on one side, Worn suspension rods or dampers, Out-of-level cabinet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands clear of the drum while it is moving. Unplug the unit before adjusting leveling legs.
- Redistribute load: Open the door when safe and redistribute clothing evenly around the drum. Avoid washing a single heavy item alone.
- Check machine leveling: Use a level on the top of the unit. Adjust the front and rear leveling legs until the washer-dryer combo is stable and does not rock.
- Inspect suspension: If UE occurs frequently even with balanced loads, inspect the suspension rods or dampers for leaks, wear, or breakage. Replace as a set if worn.
- Run test spin: Run a spin-only cycle with a properly balanced load to confirm improvement.
