How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use gloves and adequate ventilation when using cleaning chemicals.
- Clean gasket: Wipe the door gasket folds with a cloth soaked in a mild bleach solution or washer cleaner. Remove visible mold and residue.
- Run tub clean cycle: Use a commercial washer cleaner or a cup of bleach and run the hottest tub clean or sanitize cycle.
- Leave door open: After each use, leave the door slightly open to allow the interior to dry.
- Use proper detergent: Use HE detergent in the correct amount to reduce residue.
