Possible Causes
Loose pressure hose, Blocked pressure chamber, Faulty electronic pressure sensor, Wiring fault to pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close water taps before working on the pressure system.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover and locate the pressure sensor and its hose. Ensure the hose is firmly attached at both ends and not split or kinked.
- Clean pressure chamber: Detach the hose at the tub end and clear any detergent sludge or debris from the connection point.
- Test sensor: If your Grundig model uses an electronic pressure sensor, check its connector and wiring to the PCB. Use service data to verify output voltages or resistance if available.
- Replace sensor if faulty: If the sensor does not respond correctly or E17 persists after cleaning and reseating, replace the pressure sensor with a Grundig-compatible part.
