Possible Causes

Leak from tub seal or hose, Loose pump or inlet hose clamp, Cracked detergent drawer housing, Activated float switch in base

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off water supply. Be prepared for water spillage when tilting the unit.

  • Step 1 – Check for visible leaks: Look around the front, sides, and rear for signs of water. Pull the machine slightly forward and inspect the floor.
  • Step 2 – Empty base tray: Carefully tilt the washer-dryer slightly backward or sideways (with assistance) to allow water to drain from the base tray. Place towels underneath. This may temporarily clear E13 but does not fix the leak source.
  • Step 3 – Remove panels: Take off the rear and, if possible, side panels. Inspect all hoses (inlet, sump, drain, recirculation) and the pump for drips or mineral tracks. Tighten or replace hose clamps as needed.
  • Step 4 – Check door seal and tub: Inspect the door gasket for tears or mold damage. Look for cracks in the outer tub, especially around the heater or bearing area.
  • Step 5 – Detergent drawer and dispenser: Remove the drawer and check the dispenser housing for cracks or overflow marks. Clean out heavy detergent buildup that can cause water to divert over the front.
  • Step 6 – Float switch: In the base tray, locate the float and micro-switch. Ensure the float moves freely and the switch is not stuck. Dry the area thoroughly before reassembly.
  • Step 7 – Test for leaks: Run a short wash while observing the interior with panels off. Repair or replace any leaking component before returning the machine to service.
