Possible Causes
Lint-clogged condenser, Blocked air ducts, Insufficient water supply to condenser (for water-cooled types), Failing dryer heater partially open
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning internal parts.
- Step 1 – Clean condenser: Remove the condenser unit (if user-removable) and rinse thoroughly. Remove lint from fins and channels.
- Step 2 – Clear air ducts: Access internal air ducts from the rear or top and vacuum out lint. Ensure the fan wheel is clean and rotates freely.
- Step 3 – Check water supply (if applicable): Some Hansa combos use water to cool the condenser. Ensure the inlet valve and small hoses feeding the condenser are not blocked.
- Step 4 – Test heater: Run a drying cycle and feel for warm air at the drum after a few minutes. If only lukewarm or cold, test the dryer heater and thermostats as in E06.
