Possible Causes
Persistent unbalanced loads, Clogged drain pump filter, Worn motor brushes, Faulty tachometer sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing the pump or motor.
- Step 1 – Check load distribution: Ensure loads are not too small or composed of one heavy item. Re-run spin with a balanced load.
- Step 2 – Clean pump filter: Open the pump filter cover and remove debris as described for E03. Poor drainage can prevent high-speed spin.
- Step 3 – Inspect motor brushes: If the machine is older and uses a brushed motor, check and replace worn brushes.
- Step 4 – Tachometer and control: If the drum ramps up then slows repeatedly, inspect the tachometer sensor and wiring as in E08.
