Washer-dryer does not fill with water or fills very slowly; E02 displayed

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap before disconnecting hoses.

Step-by-step checks:

• 1. Verify water supply: Ensure the wall tap feeding the washer-dryer is fully open. Check that other taps in the house have normal pressure.
• 2. Clean inlet filters: Turn off the tap, unscrew the inlet hose from the back of the machine, and remove the small mesh filters inside the valve ports. Rinse them under running water and reinstall.
• 3. Inspect inlet hose: Check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage. Replace if damaged.
• 4. Test the water inlet valve: With the back panel removed (power unplugged), locate the water inlet valve assembly. Check the coil connectors for corrosion or loose fit. With a multimeter, test coil resistance; an open circuit indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.
• 5. Check pressure switch and hose: Locate the water level pressure switch (usually near the top) and its thin rubber hose going to the tub. Ensure the hose is not kinked, split, or blocked with soap residue. Blow gently through the hose (disconnected) to clear any blockage.
• 6. Run a test fill: Reassemble, restore power and water, and run a quick wash. If E02 reappears despite good pressure and a clean valve, the pressure switch or main PCB may be faulty and should be tested or replaced by a technician.
