Unbalanced Load / Spin Protection Fault
Washer-dryer will not spin; E07 displayed near spin phase

Possible Causes
Severely unbalanced load, Worn suspension dampers, Faulty motor tachometer feedback, Excessive suds causing imbalance detection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before internal inspection. For simple load issues, you can correct them with the machine off but still plugged in.
Step-by-step checks:
- 1. Redistribute the load: Open the door once the lock releases. If there is a single heavy item (e.g., duvet), redistribute or add a few smaller items and restart the spin.
- 2. Reduce load size: Overloading can prevent proper spin. Remove some items and try again.
- 3. Check for excessive suds: If you see foam in the drum, you may be using too much or non-HE detergent. Run a rinse and spin with no detergent to clear suds.
- 4. Inspect suspension: Unplug the machine, remove the top cover, and press down on the drum. It should move smoothly and return without bouncing excessively. If the tub bounces or knocks, the suspension dampers may be worn and should be replaced.
- 5. Motor/tach check: If E07 appears even with balanced loads, inspect the motor and tachometer wiring as described for E06. Faulty speed feedback can be misinterpreted as an unbalance condition.
