Possible Causes
Stuck water inlet valve, Blocked or disconnected pressure hose, Faulty water level sensor, Main control board not shutting off fill
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water supply immediately if overfilling is observed.
- Drain excess water: Use the drain pump filter access to manually drain water into a shallow pan until the drum is below the door opening.
- Check inlet valves: With water supply off and hoses removed, inspect the inlet valves for debris. If water continues to flow into the tub when the machine is unplugged and water is turned on, the valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
- Inspect pressure hose and sensor: Remove the top panel and verify the pressure hose is securely attached and not blocked. Clean or replace as needed, and ensure the sensor connector is tight.
- Control board evaluation: If valves and sensor are good but the board continues to energize the valve excessively, the main control board may be faulty and require replacement.
- Test after repair: Restore power and water, then run a small load to confirm proper fill level and that E11 does not recur.
