Possible Causes

Blocked pressure hose from tub to sensor, Faulty water level (pressure) sensor, Air leak in pressure hose, Wiring fault between sensor and main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off water supply before removing covers.

  • Locate pressure sensor: Remove the top panel. Find the round or rectangular pressure sensor with a small rubber hose connected to the bottom of it.
  • Inspect hose: Remove the hose from the sensor and tub connection. Blow gently through it to confirm it is clear. If blocked with detergent residue, rinse it out and dry thoroughly.
  • Check for cracks or leaks: Flex the hose and look for splits or pinholes that could leak air. Replace the hose if any damage is found.
  • Check sensor connection: Ensure the electrical connector on the pressure sensor is fully seated and free of corrosion.
  • Replace sensor if needed: If the hose is good and connections are secure but E7 persists, replace the water level sensor with the correct Insignia part.
