Possible Causes
Stuck-open water inlet valve, Blocked or kinked pressure hose, Faulty water level pressure sensor, Defective main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and turn off both water supply valves immediately to stop filling.
- 1. Stop water flow:
- Close hot and cold water faucets.
- Use a wet/dry vacuum or manual draining via the pump filter to remove excess water if needed.
- 2. Check water inlet valve:
- With water supply off and unit unplugged, disconnect hoses and inspect for debris.
- If water continues to flow into the tub when the unit is unplugged but water valves are open, the LG inlet valve is stuck open and must be replaced.
- 3. Inspect pressure hose and sensor:
- Remove the top cover.
- Locate the small rubber or plastic pressure hose running from the tub/air chamber to the pressure sensor.
- Ensure the hose is not kinked, cracked, or disconnected.
- Blow gently through the hose to clear any blockage (do not use high pressure).
- Check the pressure sensor connection and replace the sensor if FE persists.
- 4. Control board evaluation:
- If the inlet valve and pressure system are good, the main PCB may be misreading the level signal.
- Board replacement should be done by a qualified technician.
