How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the top cover or handling wiring.
- 1. Power reset:
- Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and plug back in to clear transient errors.
- 2. Inspect pressure hose:
- Remove the top cover.
- Locate the pressure sensor (small round or rectangular device with a thin hose attached).
- Ensure the hose is firmly connected at both ends and not kinked or pinched.
- Check for water inside the hose; if present, remove and blow out gently.
- 3. Check wiring:
- Inspect the electrical connector at the pressure sensor for corrosion or loose pins.
- Reseat the connector securely.
- 4. Replace pressure sensor if needed:
- If PE persists, replace the LG water level pressure sensor.
- Transfer the hose and connector to the new sensor and secure it in place.
- 5. Control board diagnosis:
- If a new sensor does not resolve the error, the main PCB may be faulty and should be tested/replaced by a technician.
