Safety first: Avoid opening the door mid-cycle when the drum is full of water.

• 1. Let the cycle continue:
  • The machine will usually add extra rinses to clear suds; allow it to finish.
• 2. Adjust detergent use:
  • Use only HE (high-efficiency) detergent.
  • Reduce the amount used, especially in soft water areas.
• 3. Clean drum:
  • Run a Tub Clean cycle with no laundry and a washing machine cleaner to remove detergent buildup.
• 4. Pressure hose check (advanced):
  • If SUD appears frequently with correct detergent use, inspect the pressure hose for partial blockage as described in the PE error fix.
