Washer-dryer combo door will not unlock at end of cycle; no error code displayed.

Safety first: Do not force the door open with tools that can break the glass. Unplug the unit before internal work.

• 1. Wait and reset:
  • Wait a few minutes after cycle end; some models delay unlock.
  • Unplug the unit for 5 minutes, then plug back in and try again.
• 2. Check for water in drum:
  • If water is visible, run a Drain+Spin cycle or manually drain via the pump filter.
• 3. Use emergency release:
  • Open the lower front access panel.
  • Locate and pull the manual door release tab or cord (if equipped).
• 4. Replace door lock if recurrent:
  • If the problem repeats, replace the LG door lock assembly as described in dE2.
