  • Open the door and carefully examine the rubber boot for tears, holes, or mold buildup.
  • Clean the gasket with mild detergent and a soft cloth.
• 2. Check for foreign objects:
  • Look for coins, hairpins, or other debris trapped in the gasket folds.
• 3. Verify door closure:
  • Ensure the door closes evenly and firmly.
• 4. Replace door boot if damaged:
  • Remove the outer retaining spring clamp.
  • Peel the gasket off the front panel.
  • Remove the inner clamp securing the gasket to the tub.
  • Install the new LG door boot, ensuring the drain holes are positioned correctly, and reinstall both clamps.
