Washer-dryer combo takes excessively long to dry clothes or clothes remain damp at end of cycle.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before accessing internal ducts or heater components.

• 1. Basic checks:
  • Clean the lint filter before every load.
  • Do not overload; dry smaller loads for better airflow.
• 2. Venting and airflow:
  • For vented models, ensure the vent hose and wall vent are clear.
  • For ventless models, clean the condenser and internal air passages per LG instructions.
• 3. Sensor and heater:
  • If drying is still poor, test the dryer thermistor and heater as described in tE1/HE error fixes.
  • Replace faulty components.
• 4. Moisture sensor (if equipped):
  • Clean the metal moisture sensor bars inside the drum with a soft cloth and mild cleaner to remove residue.
