Possible Causes
Faulty analog pressure sensor, Damaged sensor wiring, Blocked air hose or chamber, Incorrect sensor voltage from PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before accessing the sensor and wiring.
- Inspect pressure hose and chamber: As with E7, ensure the hose is clear and the air chamber on the tub is not clogged.
- Check wiring harness: Verify the connector at the Midea analog pressure sensor is secure and wires are not pinched or cut.
- Sensor replacement: If hoses and wiring are good but E31 persists, replace the pressure sensor with the correct Midea part.
- Service mode (if available): Some models allow sensor calibration in service mode; refer to service documentation. Incorrect calibration should be handled by a technician.
