• Inspect for shipping hardware: Verify that all Midea transit bolts and brackets have been removed from the rear panel.
• Internal inspection (advanced): Remove the rear or front panel (depending on model) and inspect the shock absorbers and springs for oil leakage, cracks, or detachment. Tighten any loose counterweight bolts on the drum.
• Replace worn parts: If shocks or springs are visibly worn or broken, replace them in pairs to maintain balance.
