Possible Causes
Blocked dispenser drawer jets, Faulty dispenser solenoid valve, Build-up of detergent residue in drawer channels, Low water pressure to dispenser valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off water supply before removing hoses if needed.
Step-by-step checks:
- Clean the dispenser drawer: Pull out the drawer fully and press the release tab to remove it. Soak in warm water and scrub away detergent buildup, especially around the siphon caps.
- Clean water jets: Look up into the dispenser housing and clean the water spray holes with a soft brush or toothpick to remove limescale.
- Check dispenser valve: Locate the dispenser solenoid valve (often part of the main inlet valve assembly). Test coil resistance and replace if open-circuit.
- Reassemble and test: Refit the drawer and run a rinse cycle to confirm proper flow through each compartment.
If E14 persists and water never reaches the drawer, the control board output to the dispenser valve may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
