Possible Causes

Clogged inlet water filters at hose connection, Faulty water inlet valve, Low household water pressure, Kinked or pinched inlet hoses

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water taps before disconnecting hoses.

  • Step 1 – Verify water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps (if applicable) are fully open. Check that other faucets in the home have normal pressure.
  • Step 2 – Inspect inlet hoses: Pull the machine slightly forward. Check that the inlet hoses are not kinked or crushed behind the unit. Straighten as needed.
  • Step 3 – Clean inlet filters: Close the taps, unscrew the hoses from the rear of the Vedette combo. Inside the valve inlets you will see small mesh filters. Gently pull them out with needle-nose pliers, rinse under running water, and reinstall.
  • Step 4 – Test fill: Reconnect hoses, open taps, plug in the machine, and run a quick wash. If E02 persists, the water inlet valve may be defective.
  • Step 5 – Replace inlet valve (advanced): Remove the top cover, locate the water inlet valve assembly where the hoses connect. Disconnect the wiring connectors and hose clamps, swap in a new Vedette-compatible inlet valve, and reassemble. If unsure, contact a technician.
