Possible Causes
Clogged drain pump filter, Blocked drain hose, Foreign object in drain pump impeller, Failed drain pump motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine. Water may spill when opening the filter—have towels and a shallow tray ready.
- Step 1 – Access drain filter: Open the lower front access flap. Place a tray under the drain filter cap.
- Step 2 – Clean filter: Slowly unscrew the filter cap to let water drain gradually. Remove the filter and clean out lint, coins, buttons, and debris. Check inside the pump housing for obstructions and carefully spin the impeller with your finger.
- Step 3 – Check drain hose: Inspect the drain hose at the back for kinks or clogs. Detach from the standpipe or sink connection and flush with water if necessary.
- Step 4 – Test pump operation: Refit the filter, close the flap, plug in the unit, and run a drain or spin program. If you still hear no pump noise or E03 returns, the pump motor may be faulty.
- Step 5 – Replace drain pump (advanced): Tilt the machine back slightly (support it securely). Remove the bottom panel (if fitted) or access from the front after removing the lower kick panel. Disconnect the pump wiring and hoses, remove mounting screws, and install a new Vedette-compatible drain pump. Ensure all hose clamps are tight to prevent leaks.
