Possible Causes

Blocked pressure switch air hose, Faulty pressure switch, Stuck water inlet valve, Wiring issue between pressure switch and control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps. If overfilled, manually drain via the drain filter before working.

  • Step 1 – Check for continuous filling: With the machine unplugged, open the door. If water continues to enter, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
  • Step 2 – Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover. Locate the pressure switch (round plastic device with a small rubber hose attached). Follow the hose down to the tub. Remove the hose and blow gently through it to clear any soap residue or lint. Reattach securely.
  • Step 3 – Examine pressure switch: Check the switch for signs of moisture or corrosion. Ensure the electrical connector is firmly seated.
  • Step 4 – Test cycle: Plug in, run a short wash, and observe the fill level. If E04 reappears or the water level is abnormal, the pressure switch or inlet valve is likely defective.
  • Step 5 – Replace faulty component: Replace the pressure switch if the hose is clear but the error persists. If water continues to flow when power is off, replace the water inlet valve. For wiring or control board issues, contact a qualified technician.
