Safety first: Unplug the machine and allow it to cool before accessing internal components.

• Step 1 – Confirm symptom: Run a hot wash program and check the door glass after 20–30 minutes. If it remains cold and E05 appears, the heating circuit is suspect.
• Step 2 – Access heater: On many Vedette washer-dryer combos, the wash heater is mounted at the rear of the tub. Remove the rear panel to expose the heater terminals and NTC sensor.
• Step 3 – Inspect wiring: Look for burnt connectors or loose wires at the heater and sensor. Reseat any loose plugs.
• Step 4 – Test heater and sensor (advanced): With a multimeter, measure resistance across the heater terminals (typically 20–30 Ω; check service data). Test the NTC sensor; its resistance should change with temperature. An open circuit or short indicates failure.
• Step 5 – Replace defective parts: If the heater is faulty, remove the central nut, gently push the bolt in, and pry the heater out of the tub seal. Install a new Vedette-compatible heater with gasket, tighten evenly, and reconnect wiring. Replace the NTC sensor if readings are out of range.
• Step 6 – Control board: If heater and sensor test good but E05 persists, the main control board heater relay may be defective. Board replacement is best handled by a professional.
