Possible Causes

Blocked pressure chamber on tub, Cracked or loose pressure hose, Faulty pressure switch, Wiring fault between pressure switch and control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and drain excess water via the drain filter if overfilled.

  • Step 1 – Clean drain and tub: A blocked pressure chamber can cause incorrect level readings. Run a maintenance wash at high temperature with no laundry and a washing machine cleaner to remove soap scum.
  • Step 2 – Inspect pressure hose and chamber: Remove the top cover. Follow the small hose from the pressure switch down to the tub. Detach it at the tub end and check the connection point (pressure chamber) for sludge. Clean thoroughly.
  • Step 3 – Check hose integrity: Inspect the hose for cracks, pinholes, or kinks. Replace if damaged.
  • Step 4 – Test pressure switch (advanced): Gently blow into the pressure switch port and listen for clicks. Use a multimeter to verify that the switch contacts change state when pressure is applied.
  • Step 5 – Replace pressure switch if faulty: Install a new Vedette-compatible pressure switch and reconnect wiring. If E10 persists with a new switch and clean chamber, the control board may be at fault and should be checked by a technician.
