Possible Causes
Heater not reaching temperature (wash or dry), Slow filling due to low water pressure, Poor draining causing extended spin balancing, Excessive load size
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing internal components.
- Step 1 – Check water supply: Ensure taps are fully open and inlet filters are clean to avoid slow fills.
- Step 2 – Verify heating: During a hot wash, the door glass should become warm. If not, investigate the wash heater as in E05.
- Step 3 – Drain performance: Clean the drain filter and ensure the drain hose and standpipe are clear.
- Step 4 – Load size: Avoid overloading the drum. Large, dense loads can cause repeated spin balancing attempts, extending cycle time.
- Step 5 – Sensor issues: If all basics are correct but cycles still overrun significantly, temperature or water level sensors may be misreading and should be checked by a technician.
