Washer drum does not spin or spin is very weak, E3 displayed on Casarte washer

Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing any panels. Do not run the machine with covers removed.

• 1. Check for overload: Remove some laundry and try a smaller load. Overloading can prevent spin and trigger E3.
• 2. Inspect drum movement: With power off, rotate the drum by hand. It should turn smoothly without grinding or binding. Stiff movement may indicate bearing or foreign object issues rather than motor failure.
• 3. Access rear panel: Remove the rear cover to inspect the drive belt (if your Casarte model uses a belt). Ensure the belt is on both the motor pulley and drum pulley and is not frayed or snapped. Replace if damaged.
• 4. Check motor connections: Locate the BLDC drive motor at the rear of the tub. Inspect the wiring harness and connector for burns, corrosion, or looseness. Reseat the connector firmly.
• 5. Inspect inverter / motor control board: On many Casarte models, the motor control module (inverter) is mounted near the motor or side panel. Look for burnt components or odor. If the motor windings test OK (technician with multimeter) but E3 persists, the inverter board may need replacement.
• 6. Test spin cycle: Reassemble panels, plug in the washer, and run a spin-only cycle. If E3 reappears and the drum never starts to turn, professional diagnosis of the motor and inverter is recommended.
