Possible Causes
Stuck or burnt heater relay on main PCB, Shorted heating element, Damaged wiring between PCB and heater
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer. Heating circuits carry high current; avoid contact with live parts.
- 1. Inspect heater wiring: Remove the rear panel and check the heater terminals and wiring for burns or loose connections. Repair as needed.
- 2. Test heater resistance (for technicians): With the washer unplugged and heater disconnected, measure resistance across the heater. A short (very low resistance) can cause relay faults; replace the heater if shorted.
- 3. Visual PCB inspection: Access the main control board and look for burnt heater relay contacts or tracks. If damaged, the board must be replaced.
- 4. Professional repair: Relay replacement on the PCB is not recommended for untrained users. Use an original Casarte main PCB if replacement is needed.
