Possible Causes
Internal failure of door lock microswitch, Broken wiring between door lock and PCB, Faulty main control board input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before accessing the door lock wiring.
- 1. Confirm lock action: Start a cycle and listen for the door lock click. If it locks but E41 appears, the feedback signal may be missing.
- 2. Access door lock: Remove the front gasket clamp and pull back the gasket to reach the door lock assembly. Check the connector and wiring.
- 3. Inspect wiring: Look for broken or loose wires between the lock and main PCB. Repair or replace the harness.
- 4. Replace door lock: If wiring is intact, replace the door lock assembly with a Casarte-compatible part.
