Possible Causes
Blocked air pressure hose to sensor, Faulty water level (pressure) sensor, Air leak in pressure hose, Defective main control board level circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply. Overfilling can cause leaks; keep an eye on the water level.
- 1. Inspect for over-sudsing: Excessive detergent can create foam that confuses the level sensor. Run a rinse and spin with no detergent to clear suds.
- 2. Access pressure sensor: Remove the top cover. Locate the round or rectangular water level (pressure) sensor with a small rubber hose connected to the bottom of it.
- 3. Check pressure hose: Follow the hose from the sensor to the bottom of the tub or air chamber. Ensure it is not kinked, pinched, or disconnected. Remove the hose and blow gently through it to clear any blockage. Reattach securely.
- 4. Inspect for water in hose: If the hose is filled with water, drain it and check for cracks or leaks. Replace the hose if damaged.
- 5. Replace sensor if needed: If E7 persists and the hose is clear and intact, the pressure sensor may be faulty. Disconnect the wiring connector and hose, remove the sensor, and install a new Casarte-compatible water level sensor.
- 6. Test operation: Reassemble the top cover, plug in the washer, and run a quick wash to verify correct filling and no E7 code.
